Production
The production-cycle begins with an accurate search of suppliers and materials.

Exhaustive surveys with our partner-suppliers define the working-cycles and tools, introducing new methods and improvements leading to the best quality combined with long-term endurance.
CHECK-IN
The material is checked and identified on arrival, and through a PDA connected to the central ERP, is given a code and a description that is printed on a label. The label includes a radio frequency identification code (RFID), read at the beginning of each production phase to minimize “human” error.
PRODUCTION START-UP
All production processes are automated and controlled through a central product data management system (PDM).
The PDM builds the structure of the bill of materials (BOM), and instructs the machines and their operators with regards to the specific product processed.
The wire rod will follow different processing-cycles, depending on the end product:
- production of customer-made smooth bars
- production of standard or custom threaded-rods
- production of threaded studs
- production of drawn wire annealing
- production of standard screws
- production of special customer-made parts
The RFID technology is used throughout the whole rocesses, increasing efficiency during production.
The RFID tags placed on the raw material ensure the identification and usage of the correct reels. Other RFID tags introduced during the successive production phases, guarantee the complete tracking of the product.
DRAWING, COLD FORMING AND THREADING
The three processes are performed by the lastest generation machine-tools, controlled by our specialized technicians. Monitors connected to the PDM indicate fine tuning adjustments, all the working data and instructions, and historical info of the product itself. This working method ensures a good production planning monitoring and product quality.
Quality tests are made very often, and in case of nonconformities the production-manager is immediately informed and corrective actions are evaluated together with the quality manager.
The finished or semi-finished product is placed into RFID tagged containers, weighted and sent to the cleaning dept, where washing machines will clean it following the right washing-cycle according to its code.
The clean product, then enters the automatic warehouse where it will be packaged.
PACKAGING, PICKING AND SHIPMENT
All the operations of packaging, picking and shipment are performed by our completely automatic system in the packaging dept.
